Dr. Gary E. Schwartz is currently a professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry and surgery at The University of Arizona. He is also the Director of the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health in the University of Arizona’s department of Psychology.
Dr. Schwartz’s educational background is equally impressive, with an undergraduate degree in psychology from Cornell University, a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Harvard, and a PhD in personal psychology, also from Harvard University.
He is the author of many books, including The Energy Healing Experiments, The Afterlife Experiments and the Truth about Medium and co-author of the Living Energy Universe. He has published over four-hundred and fifty articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented over six-hundred papers at scientific meetings.

Excellent interview Marcel. It seemed like Dr. Schwartz was really happy to be interviewed by someone who had done their homework. It was also nice to get his side of that whole Geraldo debacle. Also, what a bummer that someone who is rich and famous largely because of Dr. Schwartz turned on him in such a vicious manner. A good reminder that just because someone is psychically developed, it does not necessarily mean they are the most spiritually developed.

Very good interview, Marcel. Consider me one of those skeptics regarding mediums, having heard so many stories of scams. However, I recognize that doesn’t negate ALL such work. I’m just naturally skeptical about any such validity.
There are many things, though, that we do not yet understand, and to assume it’s all fake/false is probably equally disingenuous.
